Dear WFMT Members,This month we are at the 13. World Congress of Music Therapy in Seoul, Korea. Over the past three years, the WFMT Council has worked closely with our World Congress Organizer Dr. Byungchuel Choi, the Scientific Committee Chair Dr. Youngshin Kim, and the local planning committee to create a scientifically sound and culturally enriched event for our WFMT members and those interested in global music therapy. At this first World Congress of Music Therapy held in Asia, we expect over 12,000 attendees from 46 countries. Experts from around the world will talk about Music Therapy in Eastern and Western Philosophy. The congress program includes 4 intriguing pre-congress seminars, 124 concurrent sessions, 32 workshops, 8 roundtables, 5 clinical forums, 48 poster sessions, and our four Spotlight Sessions featuring sixteen renowned music therapists whose expertise spans generations and WFMT’s eight regions. Additionally, the WFMT Council will hold meetings, present a roundtable, and have a booth. Those of you who will not be able to attend the World Congress candownload the WFMT booth flyers by simply scanning the bar code with you smart phone and review the congress proceedings online.
