Dear Music Therapy Community,
On behalf of the Public Relations Commission of the World Federation of Music Therapy (WFMT), I am delighted to announce the winners of the 2025 World Music Therapy Week Photo Competition!
This year marked an exciting evolution of the competition, as we introduced a unifying theme: “Meaningful Moments in Music Therapy.” Participants were invited to submit a photograph accompanied by a title or brief description, capturing the depth and impact of music therapy experiences. This addition helped to align the competition more closely with our mission of enhancing public awareness and understanding of music therapy across the globe.

We were thrilled to receive nearly 90 photo submissions from around the world and saw enthusiastic engagement, with over 1,200 people casting their votes for their favorite images.
Here are the 2025 winners:
🥇 1st Place: Photo #79 – Angel.
He's a young man with Angelman syndrome who looks like an angel, and what he loves most about the session is playing the guitar.
